Service availability

Service availability is determined by many of our back end systems and as such availability varies by product as detailed below.

Bonds Service availability 
  • Onshore Bonds
  • Scottish Widows Investment Bond
  • Clerical Medical Bonds*
  • Offshore Bonds
  • Scottish Widows Bonds*

Access to valuations and servicing is normally 7.00am to 10.00pm weekdays and Saturdays. The service is not available on Sunday. Illustrations and applications are available 24 hours weekdays and Saturday, to 10.00pm Sunday.
Pensions Service availability 
  • Personal Pension Plan
  • Stakeholder Pension Plan
  • Corporate Pensions
 Access is normally 24 hours Monday to Saturday with a ½ hour outage at 10.00pm and 8.00am to 6.00pm on Sundays.
  • Retirement Account
 8.00am to 8.00pm weekdays and 8.00am to 1.00pm Saturdays.
OEICs and ISAs Service availability 
  • OEICs and ISAs
 8.00am to 8.00pm weekdays and 8.00am to 1.00pm Saturdays.
Group Pensions Service availability 
  • Clerical Medical Group Pensions*
 Access to valuations and servicing is normally 7.00am to 10.00pm weekdays and weekends. The service is not available before 8.00am on a Monday.

*This product is now closed to new business.

All systems may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance.
