To give you the confidence and certainty that the right degree of control is in place we have invested in supporting industry standard access control protocols provided through Unipass digital certificates.
Whilst we do still support username and password logins, Unipass represents the quickest, easiest and crucially the most secure way to access our eCommerce services both on the Extranet and through 3rd party integrations.

Sharing access credentials
Your right to use the services is personal to you and you may not permit any other person to access the services using your username and password or your Unipass certificate. Please note, it is a condition of your use of the services that the credentials issued to you are kept secure and confidential at all times and are not revealed to any other person.
Scottish Widows can’t accept responsibility for any unauthorised use of your eServices credentials resulting from negligence on your part. You must notify Scottish Widows immediately if you become aware of, or suspect, any unauthorised use of the services or any breach of security.
