It provides financial support if you become ill or are no longer around to provide for your family. It's also important to understand that your protection needs will change through different stages of your life and that’s why we've made our protection plans flexible so as your own needs change, you can apply to adapt your Protect for Life Plan.

It's really important and beneficial to review your protection plans from time to time to make sure they still fully meet your individual protection needs.

I want to increase my cover, what should I do?

How do I make a claim?

I have moved house, how do I update my address details?

To update your address, we will need a signed letter from you, quoting your Scottish Widows policy number along with your new address. Or, please contact us to discuss further.
