The Public Affairs team at Scottish Widows is one of the most dynamic in the industry. We are constantly working to promote our profile and our business goals.
Based at Port Hamilton in Edinburgh our key objective is to influence and shape legislation which will impact Scottish Widows business.
Our public affairs role sees us working closely with MPs, civil servants and policy influencers which includes charities and thinktanks. Scottish Widows engages at events throughout the country and through our responses to consultation papers. Our reports and expertise have positioned us well with politicians and policy influencers across the political spectrum.
In order to be the most effective Public Affairs team we work in partnership with the many Think Tanks and leading government organisations who add value with their expertise, these organisations include:
