Since its establishment in 2004, the Public Affairs team of Scottish Widows has worked hard to influence and shape legislation in a way that benefits our business, shareholders and customers.
With a forward-thinking strategy and in partnership with a range of policy influencers, think tanks and charities, the Public Affairs team examines legislative and regulatory developments to protect both the industry and its consumers.
Through its cutting edge research on long-term policy issues affecting the industry, Scottish Widows has become one of the leading life and pensions companies for its contribution to public policy debates. 2011 has seen the release of the seventh Annual Scottish Widows Pensions Report, our 2011 Savings and Investment Report, and our Protection Report. In November, we will be launching our 2011 Women and Pensions Report which will focus on women’s attitudes and behaviours.
